Analytics

SocialGPT gives you two levels of analytics: a quick stats summary on your home page and a full analytics dashboard. Together, they make it easy to track your growth without checking each platform separately.

Home page stats

At the top of your home page, you'll see a greeting and a stats section with animated counters for:

  • Views — total views across all accounts
  • Likes — total likes
  • Comments — total comments
  • Shares — total shares
  • Engagement % — your overall engagement rate (likes + comments + shares divided by views)

The numbers animate as they count up when the page loads, and flash green when they increase. Use the time range dropdown to switch between different periods (the default is the last 28 days).

Analytics dashboard

The full Analytics page gives you a deeper view with metric cards, charts, and AI coaching. At the top, you'll see cards showing your totals for the selected time period:

  • Total Views — how many people saw your content
  • Total Likes — total likes across all posts
  • Total Comments — how many people engaged enough to comment
  • Total Shares — how many times your content was shared

Each card also shows the change from the previous period as a percentage. If you're looking at the last 7 days, it compares to the 7 days before that.

Time range

Use the selector at the top to choose your time range:

  • Last 7 days — great for weekly check-ins
  • Last 30 days — a broader view of recent performance
  • Last 90 days — helpful for spotting long-term trends
  • Custom range — pick any start and end date

All the metrics and charts update when you change the range.

Performance chart

Below the metric cards, you'll see a chart showing your daily performance over time. Hover over any point to see the exact numbers for that day. This makes it easy to spot patterns — like which days of the week perform best for you.

Post Coach

This is one of the most useful parts of Analytics. The Post Coach section shows your best and worst performing posts with AI-generated tips for each one:

  • What worked — the AI explains why a post performed well (e.g., "Strong hook in the first 2 seconds" or "Trending topic with high search volume")
  • What could improve — actionable suggestions for doing better next time

Each post shows its thumbnail, title, and full metrics (views, likes, comments, shares, engagement rate).

Tip

Check Post Coach at least once a week. The specific feedback on your actual posts is more valuable than generic advice because it's based on how your audience responds to your content.

Filtering by account

If you have multiple social accounts connected, you can filter analytics to see a specific account's performance. Use the account selector to toggle which accounts are included. By default, all accounts are shown.
